OVERVIEW

About Industry Connections

The importance of good connections has taken on a whole new meaning in today's wired economy. Publishers out-source various aspects of their operations, employ remote workers, sell products over the internet through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and their own website, and enter into consignment relationships. Publishers are increasingly conducting business on-line. CyberWolf is committed to developing and maintaining electronic communication capabilities between ACUMEN publishers and the companies and people with whom they do business. If you don't see a vendor listed below, please contact us to confirm that they are an accepted ACUMEN Book partner.

Order-Taking, Fulfillment and Distribution
For publishers that outsource all aspects of fulfillment from order-taking to shipment, ACUMEN has import/export formats to make communication with the following distribution services simpler.
Internet Sales
Our Product Marketing Module, part of the core system, enables you to store all bibliographic and marketing information about your titles and to export that data to partners, including Amazon, Bowker, & Barnes & Noble. We provide export formats to give you a head-start. Your own website can also be updated with these exports.

Remote Access
Increasingly, management and staff need secure access to the company computer systems when they are away from the office. ACUMEN has full support for remote access over the internet through Windows Terminal Server® or Citrix®. A DSL or cable modem connection can give an employee secure network access at a speed that is similar to being in the office.
