Point of Sale & Conferencing Optional
Module
Purpose
The Point of Sale & Conferencing Module (POS) enables
publishers to utilize ACUMEN to support one or more
company owned retail outlets in the same database as
their normal publishing operation. The ACUMEN POS system
can handle an unlimited number of POS Locations (retail
outlets) and up to three workstations (PC-based cash
registers) at each location. You can attach a receipt
printer, an ISBN bar code scanner and a credit card
reader to each workstation, utilizing these devices
to automate POS order entry and payment processing in
ACUMEN.
