Zip Quick Optional Module

Purpose
With Zip Quick, data entry is more efficient and addresses are more accurate. The Zip Quick module
enables ACUMEN to automatically load USPS-approved City and State values based on the zip code that
is entered in Customer, Location, Rep, Vendor, Author, and Personal Contact records.

CyberWolf Inc. provides the latest U.S. 5-digit zip code information in an external file that can be
imported directly into ACUMEN. The maintenance program includes quarterly updates of this file
via a web link. The link is sent out to you via an email so you are reminded to download it.

  • Speed and Accuracy. For efficient order entry, City & State are automatically loaded.
  • Regular updates. Changes to U.S. 5-digit zip codes can be imported into ACUMEN.
How the Zip Quick Module Works
When the Zip Quick module is active, the tab order in records changes so that the cursor moves to the Zip field when the user tabs out of the Address field instead of to the City field as it would otherwise.

Enter a zip code, then press the Tab key.
 
ACUMEN loads the City and State automatically.
 
If a zip code spans more than one city, ACUMEN brings up a selection list.
